    Wainwrights Round

For the moment, this is a placeholder page only.

Over time, I would like to research and write about the history of the full continuous traverse of Alfred Wainwright's 214 Lakeland fells - now known as the Wainwrights Round. I am particularly interested in the early history that preceded the modern-day resurgence of interest, which began with Steve Birkinshaw in 2014.
